About this tool
Testimonial card, explained
This testimonial card maker turns a customer quote into an image for social media, a slide or a web page. Type the quote, highlight the line that sells, add a name, a photo or initials and a rating, then export a PNG at the exact size each platform expects.
How to use it
- 1In Content, paste the Quote, type the phrase to Highlight, and fill in Name and Role. Add a photo with Upload photo, or keep the initials.
- 2Choose a Rating (None, 3, 4 or 5 stars) and a Source badge such as "Verified review", or leave the badge empty to hide it.
- 3In Style, pick a Layout (Classic, Centered, Post, Photo or Big quote), a font, a weight and a text size. In Colors, pick a palette or set your own.
- 4Choose a format above the preview, then click Download PNG, Copy, or All formats (.zip).
How it works
How the card is built
The card is drawn at its real size in pixels: Square 1080 × 1080 (Instagram, LinkedIn), Portrait 1080 × 1350 (Instagram feed), Story 1080 × 1920 (Stories, Reels), Link 1200 × 630 (Open Graph, X, Slack) and Wide 1600 × 900 (X posts, slides). The PNG is exported at exactly that size, and All formats renders the same card in all five sizes and bundles them in one ZIP file.
The size of the quote is calculated from its length and the space available, so a short quote is set large and a long review smaller, within limits that keep it readable. The Text size slider then scales it from 60% to 150%. The highlighted phrase is its first match in the quote, ignoring case, drawn as a marker, a colored passage or an underline. If the phrase is not in the quote, its label says so.
Without a photo, the avatar shows initials: the first letters of the first and last words of the name, with titles such as Dr. or Mr. left out. Colors come from eight ready palettes or from your own background (solid or gradient), card, text and accent. Turn off "Card on background" to set the text straight on the background.
When to use it
Ways people use it
Social proof posts
Share a new review on LinkedIn or Instagram as a square or portrait image, which stands out more in a feed than a plain text quote.
Stories
Export the same card in the 1080 × 1920 Story size without rebuilding it.
Sales decks and proposals
Use the Wide format in a slide next to the result the customer is talking about.
Landing pages and newsletters
Drop the image into a page builder or an email where styling a quote block is hard.
FAQ
Questions people ask
What makes a good testimonial?
A good testimonial is specific. It names the problem the customer had and the result they got, ideally with a concrete detail such as time saved or a task that became easier. Short quotes work best on an image, and highlighting the key phrase helps it read at a glance.
Do I need permission to use a customer testimonial?
Ask the customer before publishing their words, name, role and photo, and keep the quote faithful to what they said. If you shorten it, check the meaning has not changed.
How do I ask a customer for a testimonial?
Ask soon after a success, when the result is fresh. A specific question such as what changed since they started gets a more useful answer than a request for a review. Offer to draft a quote from their own words and let them approve it.
What size should a testimonial image be?
It depends on where it goes. This tool exports 1080 × 1080 for a square post, 1080 × 1350 for an Instagram portrait, 1080 × 1920 for Stories, 1200 × 630 for link previews and 1600 × 900 for wide posts and slides. Keep the quote short so it stays readable when the image is shown small.
